Design Director (Peabody, MA)
To generate, direct and coordinate all design and technical aspects of production for luxury towels. Draft embroidery & waves for dobby & jacquard for terry weaving; oversee dying, sizing & confection of terry products; create design repeats using computer applications including Nedgraphics Design & Repeat Pro or Jacquad; supervise graphic & textile designers; travel quarterly to Turkey for on-site direction to weavers. Req'd: BFA Textiles & 2 yrs exp in textile design.
